Run across MN is approaching – just one week!

As the run is approaching, Just a week away!

We are going to post the route once again – We have decided that from Maple Plain on May 8th, we are taking the Baker Park Trails to Long Lake and stop at our friends of Gear West and say hi! From here we are going to get on the Luce Line to Theo Wirth Park and follow the Parkway to Cedar Lake Reg. Trail to Minneapolis and make a stop at Mill City Running on our way to St. Paul.

We will have hourly updates of our locations.

Miles is Memorium.

How to donate to Miles in Memorium?* (see below for explanation of Miles in Memorium).

2 choices:

You can go to our website at www.breakthestigmarun.com and donate using our donation tab and donate by using the Pay Pal option – this will not give you an option to include the name the person to whom you are dedicating the donation to, so please e/mail us that name to bsp_run@aol.com so we can add it to our list.

The second way to do so is by mailing your donation to

BSP, 2001 Wentworth Avenue, So St Paul MN 55075 – Please include the name of the person or organization you are donating to.

I struggle with depression every single day I wake up and I could not imagine not having the resources to cope with it. So please consider donating to make a difference on those who can’t afford it.

Thank you everyone!

* From now until the beginning of the run (May 4), for any donation over $25 you may designate someone and Julio will dedicate a portion of the run to that person.

We’re calling it Miles in Memorium. If you have lost a loved one to mental illness, this could be a meaningful way to honor the loss. You can also dedicate miles in honor of someone struggling, or in celebration of someone in recovery

** All donations to BSP are tax deductible – we are a nonprofit organization.

The biggest question is: How is the money going to be used?

We have partnered with Mental Health Resources Inc. – http://www.mhresources.org/

(MHR) is a progressive, nonprofit organization that offers community- based mental health services to adults recovering from mental illness.

Some of the money will allow us to have our run across Minnesota and have some of the flyers, information that we are going to be handing out on the road- but, this is limited to us as our purpose is to raise money for those in need.
